Heute, am 9. Juni 2021, jährt sich zum 50. Mal das unwahrscheinliche Martyrium eines außergewöhnlichen Mannes, eine meiner größten Inspirationen sowohl beruflich als auch persönlich. Ich spreche von dem in Kolumbien geborenen panamaischen Priester Héctor Gallego , der an diesem Tag im Jahr 1971 tapfer sein Leben im Kampf für eine bessere Welt opferte. Deshalb beschloss ich, mit seiner erstaunlichen Geschichte diesen Blog zu eröffnen. Jesús Héctor Gallego Herrera wurde am 7. Januar 1938 in Salgar, Kolumbien, als ältestes von 11 Geschwistern geboren. Seine Eltern waren Horacio Gallego und Alejandrina Herrera. Über seine Kindheit ist nicht viel bekannt, außer dass er schon in jungen Jahren eine starke Neigung zum Priestertum zeigte. Hoy, 9 de junio de 2021, se cumple el 50 aniversario del improbable martirio de un hombre extraordinario, una de mis mayores inspiraciones tanto a nivel profesional como personal. Me refiero al sacerdote panameño nacido en Colombia Héctor Gallego , quien en este día de 1971 dio valientemente su vida luchando por un mundo mejor. Decidí inaugurar este blog contando su increíble historia. Jesús Héctor Gallego Herrera nació el 7 de enero de 1938 en Salgar, Colombia, el mayor de 11 hermanos. Sus padres fueron Horacio Gallego y Alejandrina Herrera. De su infancia no se sabe mucho, aparte del hecho de que, desde muy joven, mostró una fuerte inclinación hacia el sacerdocio. Siguió su vocación e ingresó al seminario en 1963. Today, June 9th, 2021, marks the 50th anniversary of the unlikely martyrdom of an extraordinary man, one of my greatest inspirations both professionally and personally. I'm talking about Colombian-born Panamanian priest  Héctor Gallego , who on this day in 1971 bravely laid down his life fighting for a better world.
